What does your brand say about you?
When was the last time you looked at your website?
Your headshots?
The colors you use?
The way you dress?

I gets lots of compliments on my “branding” which always cracks me up.
No fancy shmancy branding team over here,  its just me.

The truth is that not long ago I was stuck in lamesville.

Then I started to look at my website and I wiped the lens of familiarity off and asked myself:
DOES THIS LOOK LIKE ME?
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE ME?
IS THIS ME?
IS THIS MY VIBE? MY ENERGY? MY PERSONALITY?

A while back the answer was a fast and easy HELL TO THE NO!

I looked at all the mis-matches:
I still had suits hanging in my closet from my corporate sales days and my days speaking for the professional development company that told us we should look like FBI agents….. black and white and bland all over.
YUK.

My website was a corporate looking snooze fest. It had no pizazz and was filled with horribly cliche stock photos of hands shaking.
YUK!

I looked at the colors, NAVY AND WHITE.
Oh Lordy!!!

It was time for an style and brand intervention!
I tossed it all out.
(And we’re getting ready to do another refresh here soon so keep your eyes out!)

I donated the stuffy suits.
Brought some color & sparkle back into my wardrobe.
Tossed out the ThompsonProfessionals URL
Shifted over to speakSERVEgrow.com
Got a new logo, new colors and a whole new look.
It was BRANDTASTIC! 😉
